On site, a team provides you with all the necessary equipment for the dive that follows. A short walk of less than an hour in the virgin forest leads you to the river da Prata. Observation d'aras et de poissons
Première visite au buraco das araras (trou des aras). Il s’agit d’observer de deux miradors installés autour d’un grand fossé des vols d’aras et d’autres oiseaux. Les aras mènent une vie à deux, c’est pourquoi nous voyons très souvent des oiseaux s’envoler en couple. Parfois ils sont trois, ce qui laisse supposer qu’il s’agit des parents et du bébé. L’envol des aras multicolores entre les parois orangées de la roche et surplombant l’eau bleue et les arbres verts au fond du trou est spectaculaire. Ensuite on continue par du snorkelling le long de la rivière Rio da Prata. Après avoir enfilé le matériel nous nageons sur 1.6 km en file indienne avec le guide en tête. Pendant la première partie, l’eau est à 25 degrés et la rivière est très riche en végétation et poissons (on compte 63 espèces différentes). Puis c’est la dernière partie dans le Rio da Prata même, où l’eau est un peu plus fraîche (22 degrés) et plus profonde.
