The Portas da Amazônia, located just opposite the pleasant Frei Brandão square, is a beautiful establishment run by Italian owners. The old 19th century mansion has been restored to its former charm, including the beautiful wooden floors. The decoration is refined with design touches that contrast with the simplicity of some rooms. The upstairs living room is very pleasant and ideal for relaxing at the end of the day. On the ground floor, the restaurant offers a buffet by the kilo at lunchtime and pizzas in the evening. Our favorite in Belém.
