The Cantinho Baiano has been open for about twenty years on the banks of the Amazon River and has become a classic in Macapà. The fish of the region are, of course, the specialty of the house, despite the name which could suggest Bahian references. Pirarucu, a giant fish with delicate flesh, and tucunaré (giant Amazonian perch) are to be tasted. You can try the shrimp with bacon. The view on the wonderful Amazon River is superb. Ransom of the success, the restaurant is very crowded during certain periods of the week.
