The Kuahí Museum, dedicated to the indigenous people of the Oiapoque, features an interesting collection of handicrafts from indigenous peoples, including jewelry, sieves, fabrics and pirogues. Educational panels, unfortunately only accessible to people who can read Portuguese, are available. That said, it's a pleasure to wander around and let yourself be carried away by the colors and materials. At the exit, you'll find a very reasonably-priced boutique offering a wide range of Amerindian necklaces and calabash bowls.
