AMAZON ANTONIO JUNGLE TOURS

A true caboclo, Antonio Gomes grew up in a small village in the southern Amazon, as close as possible to nature, learning to use what nature has to offer to humans: medicinal plants, fruits, fish and animals from the forest. So much so that he decided to create his own lodge, Amazon Antônio's Lodge, in 2007, composed of individual cottages overlooking the river, but also private rooms, and in the middle of the complex, a tower delivering a superb panoramic view overlooking the forest and the Urubú River. Recently a small lodge was born south of the same Rio Urubú: the Cumaru Pausada. These two lodges have the same typical style of artistic decoration d´Amazonie; paintings on wood representing the fauna and flora of the region. A keen connoisseur of the jungle and its inhabitants, it is with the help of the latter that he has built his lodges, Antonio offers excursions of varying lengths and according to several themes to meet the inhabitants of the Amazon and discover some secrets of the forest, sharing with passion what he knows about it.
