This interesting museum retraces through photos and various objects of the period the railway epic of the beginning of the century. The Madeira-Mamoré Railway was built between 1907 and 1912 to link Porto Velho to Guajará-Mirim. In this museum, installed in a loading and unloading warehouse that is almost one hundred years old, you can see hundreds of pieces and materials that trace the history of the railway line. The first locomotive brought to the Amazon, the Colonel Churchill, is on display.
