AUBERGE DE JEUNESSE CENTRE-VILLE
Starting from Green Square, the hostel (buyut el-chebab in Arabic) is predetermined on your left to the great yellow and green sign in English above the door. The rooms are small and not always very clear and the furniture has matured well. The storage cabinets are closed. Shared bathrooms. No air conditioning. It is advisable to call in winter (but you have to speak Arabic, there are no more Francophone staff) to be sure to find heating in the rooms. No restaurant but a common kitchen. The location of the place is its location, in the heart of the Italian quarter near the green square. It is now the only youth hostel in the capital, the second, much more pleasant and located on the seashore in the Gargarech district, was destroyed due to urban redevelopment.
