HOTEL AL-SAFAA (OU SAFWA)

This classic, comfortable 4-star hotel is located at the top of Baladyia Street, opposite the United Nations mission and a few steps from the French cultural institute. The suites, impeccable in the absence of the stamp (which carpets are not enough to give them), are clear, but rather outmoded. It states: kitchenette with fridge, safe, TV, computer connected to the Internet and fax, international telephone line, bathrooms with bathtub (or shower) and hair dryer. Taxi service (airport 20 DL) at the reception, where the helpful staff is either English or French. The service is discreet and careful. Also a small coffee, open to non-clients, where come to discuss foreign businessmen and their Libyan partners, and a restaurant of international cuisine where you eat well. At the foot of the hotel, the quiet and pleasant terrace is ideal for enjoying its cappuccino in the sun. The hotel has a strong reputation. Moreover, women travelling alone will not be harassed. Shame that prices have risen so much.
