(st century). In particular, a goddess from the goddess Isis was discovered (tabled at the Sabratha Museum). It was the largest place of worship dedicated to Isis throughout the whole of Africa. The cult of Isis, wife and sister of Osiris, spread outside Egypt at the time of the kings Lagides (Hellenistic period), as the great Egyptian goddess, was assimilated to Greek goddesses, Demeter or Persephone, Roman, Diane or Cérès. The husband of this Isis syncretic was Lui, who also owns his temple in Sabratha. The Emperor Caracalla (211-217), son of Emperor Septime Sévère from Leptis Magna, even built an Isis temple in Rome.

The sanctuary is at the top of the podium. At the west end of the temple, small pieces of thread that lay the foundations used to be used for the cult of deities associated with Isis. The panorama of the sea will take place from the remains of the Colonnades of the Isis Temple, before leaving for the theatre visit.
