HOTEL TIBESTI

This state hotel is still the most luxurious hotel in Benghazi. As well as the Dawa Islamiya building (on the seafront, housed in the shops and the headquarters of the Islamic Call Center, the Libyan Silguy religious association), Hotel Tibesti is one of the most interesting modern architecture in the city, with its pyramid facade designed to be a green wall. Volumes, decoration, colours, furniture, everything here recalls the aesthetics of the late 1970 s. A little young, but well maintained.

The rooms offer beautiful views of the lake of 23-July or views of the city. Their air conditioning system is no longer a young one. Many services: three restaurants (including a good Italian on the 13 th floor), cafes, shops, spa, indoor swimming pool, ticket distributor, change, travel agency Dar Sahara, airlines. Air-conditioned rooms with minibar, satellite TV, internet connection. Wi-Fi network in the executive floor. Business centre with Internet. During the month of Ramadan, the café on the roof terrace turns into a nice and lively restaurant preparing delicious grilled grill, and tents are installed. Very pleasant so during this month, but not necessarily the rest of time despite the beautiful sunsets.
