MARCHÉ NARANTUUL
Also known as Khar Zakh or "Black Market", it is one of Ulaanbaatar's main attractions, with its countless stalls. Gloves, shoes, clothes, kitchen utensils, bicycles, souvenirs, jewelry and handicrafts, traditional furniture, household goods, crockery, food products... The market is divided into two buildings. The larger one houses beautiful carpets and deels, traditional Mongolian coats. The smaller one is dedicated to electronics. It's advisable to go there with Mongolians, who are more efficient in negotiations.
