This highly interesting archaeological complex bears witness to the ancient Turkish presence on Mongolian territory. It is a burial site, known as the "man-stones"(khun chuluu). It bears witness to Turkish domination of the region between the 6th and 9th centuries. It is the largest site of its kind in Central Asia. The stones and their footprints are quite well preserved. It's also an opportunity to see that this national park is also a place of memory for people, and a place of history for Mongolia.
