This religious ceremony, one of the most important for Mongolian Buddhists, is held every year at Amarbayasgalant Monastery in the north of the country. Also known as the "Monastery of Quiet Bliss", it is one of the largest Buddhist centers of the Gelugpa school in Mongolia. During the celebration, offerings are made to Gongor, a patron god known to bring abundance and prosperity. The opportunity for a spiritual journey to attract good fortune.
