The ruins of the White Palace of Tsogt echo, a few kilometers away, those of an ancient garrison, which had been built from a city of the 10th century Kithan state. Built in the early 17th century by Prince Tsogt, a distant heir of the great Mongolian emperors who fought against the Manchu invasions, the city was razed many times and only a part of the palace remains. In very bad state, like many archaeological sites of the country, the visit is done quickly. We can see the remains of a building and a stele.
