The ruins of the Tsogt White Palace echo those of an ancient garrison, built on the site of a 10th-century Kithan state town. Built in the early 17th century by Prince Tsogt, a distant heir of the great Mongol emperors who fought against the Manchu invasions, the city was razed many times and only part of the palace remains. In very poor condition, like many of the country's archaeological sites, it's a quick visit. You can see the remains of a building and a stele.
