DANZANDARJAA MONASTERY
Founded in 1890, this monastery was home to more than 2,000 monks. It was destroyed in the 1930s and rebuilt in the early 1990s. About thirty monks are currently active there. It is worth seeing for those who will stay one night in Mörön. For the others, this cultural stage is frankly not of the greatest interest, considering the size of the site. Only those who are passionate about religion will find it interesting. The monastery has however preserved a beautiful collection of tangka. It is possible to take pictures inside, in exchange of a small donation.
