AIMAG MUSEUM

It presents the local fauna and flora, as well as a collection of stuffed animals. Above all, and this is its originality, it also exhibits photos illustrating the way of life of the Tsaatan, a group living in the vicinity of Lake Khövsgöl, and with very particular customs. The museum is easy to spot because it is one of the most successful buildings in the city. It is covered with a pinkish color and a cement statue was erected in front of it in 2009. It represents the largest man in Mongolia, who was originally from Mörön and was 2.60 meters tall.
