There is a series of works of art, mainly statues and paintings, signed by the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolia, Zanabazar, and his followers, which are recorded over several centuries. The presence of this small museum is explained by the religious importance of Arvaikheer in the 17th and 18th centuries. The city and its surroundings had many temples. All were destroyed in the late 1930s during the "Great Repression" led by Choybalsan. Ask the staff of theaimag museum for the key.
