FAMOUS PEOPLE'S MUSEUM

Theaimag is very proud to have seen the birth of Punsalmaagiyn Orchibat, the country's first democratically elected president in 1990, and who remained so until 1997. The other personalities presented in the museum, all fromAimag, are a bit more obscure, and the lack of explanations in English does not help to get an idea of why they are famous. Any uninformed Westerner will find the place uninteresting. But for those who like the old-fashioned charm of the museums ofaimag, this one is out of the ordinary.
