This isolated national park is located on the territories of Zavkhan and Arkhangai aimags. It covers 5,245 km² and is an area where semi-arid steppe and coniferous forests meet. It has been open since 2000 and is home to rich flora and fauna, the source of the Selenge River, as well as many historical and cultural sites. Bird lovers are particularly fond of the place as there are many birds to see.
