In the heart of the city center, this 4-star hotel is rather outdated but offers a professional, attentive welcome. The rooms are large, airy and bright, decorated with portraits of the great Mongol emperors and thickly carpeted. Hot water arrives at random. Some of the staff speak good English and can help you prepare for your trip to the Gobi. On the food front, there's a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, but it's far from unanimously acclaimed... Local and international specialities on the menu.
