Spread over two floors, this very interesting museum features the usual presentations of local flora and fauna, as well as a collection of stuffed animals, as is always the case in this type of establishment. It does, however, have the added attraction of showing the different ethnic groups ofAimag in their traditional costumes, as well as archaeological artefacts, relics and religious objects. It also features reconstructions of the Tsenkheriin Agui rock paintings, located almost 100 km from the city. Lots of explanations in English.

Very pretty small museum for if small town. A fine collection of stuffed animals representative of the local wildlife. You can admire some sublime ancestral costumes here, tools of yesteryear.
