This mountain is the only one in a 30 km radius. It is home to some fifty tombs dating from the 7th and 8th centuries, discovered in 1972 by workers. Dating from the Bronze and Iron Ages, these tombs contained 122 human skeletons, as well as numerous objects, such as horse-riding equipment and bronze mirrors wrapped in felt or cloth. The area also boasts a number of stelae with inscriptions in Turkish and Uyghur. From the summit, there's a fine view of the city.
