Founded in 1660, this monastery is known to have housed the first school of Buddhist philosophy in the country. It was once a large monastery that housed over 1,000 monks, the vast majority of whom fell victim to the purges of the 1930s. The monastery itself was almost completely razed in the 1950s. It was partially rebuilt at the beginning of the 1990s, in the form of a ger, where today about thirty monks live. Only a painting allows us to contemplate the monastery as it was originally in the 17th century.
