It was entirely constructed in natural material including the coconut under the direction of Mrs Marcos. It is an example of a delightful, intended to receive the Pope. The invitation led to a refusal by the Pope, who was unable to settle in such a luxury. It is an ideological failure, but an architectural marvel in Philippine history.
