Regional cuisine in a restaurant with terrace near the fountain of the Bourg.

Here, the copious dishes are of regional inspiration with a choice on the slates, small fresh dishes very Auvergne, truffades, trout filet with Auvergne ham and its lentils of Puy, fondues with Saint-Nectaire... To end the meal on a sweet note, the establishment offers home-made desserts. All served in a generous way and with a warm welcome by the owner or the staff who will take care of you. Everything is done for your pleasure, and the terrace in the centre of medieval Besse is very pleasant in summer.

Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée et le repas fut copieux et très bon Nous étions seulement 2 couples à l intérieur donc les distances étaient respectées et nous avons pu discuter avec eux une bonne partie du repas Un seul petit COUAC la patronne nous a imposé des coups de téléphones qui ne nous regardaient pas du tout

Bonne adresse. On se sent bien en Auvergne . Les produits sont excellents et faits maison. Mon mari a pris le menu à 25 euros (4 plats), un vrai régal et moi, une fondue au Saint Nectaire super bonne avec de la charcuterie qui avait du goût
De plus , la Patronne est très accueillante et a beaucoup d'humour et le cadre est très agréable

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very clean. After wandering in this very beautiful village, we tasted a fondue of nectaire nectaire and a auvergne on the terrace: very good.

We lunched one lunch: the fondue saint-nectaire is good and hearty, children's menus are good and original (mini-fondue) but to book for small because not very generous for blow. The rates are affordable (€ 83 for 3 adults and 3 children with aperitif and wine). The village of Besse is very pretty and it is a pleasure to eat on the terrace near the fountain. If the opportunity resort we will stop there again.
