Farmers celebrate the end of rice planting and the well-deserved rest. Parades, rituals, dances and songs of the tribes.
In April, when the rice planting ends in the famous rice fields of Hungduan municipality, the farmers celebrate the event. It is then forbidden to walk in the rice fields. The well-deserved rest(tungoh) is a pretext for a festival, also known as Tungoh ad Hungduan, which gives place to 3 or 4 days of festivities during which take place, among other things, parade, demonstration of arts and rituals of the various tribes and sports competitions. The festival ends with a long night of traditional dances and songs.
