DOMAINE CHARMENSAT
Annie Charmensat is a figure in the Auvergne wine world. Everything is done at the estate, from the vine plants to the marketing. The wines are regularly awarded prizes at the departmental competition...
In 2019, Samuel and Agnès Gatinois, from Champagne-Ardenne, took over the vineyards that Annie Charmensat and her family had been cultivating for over a hundred years. La Grande Vigne, a terraced plot planted in 1906, is the jewel in the crown of this benchmark estate... They continue the quality approach that has made the estate famous. They have taken over all the AOC grape varieties (chardonnay, pinot noir and gamay) and introduced a new red variety, syrah. A sparkling wine completes the range. The wines regularly win awards.
