More than 55 tribes are represented during this spectacular festival. Don't miss: the fire parade on the last night!
It is the most famous festival in the country and one of the most spectacular! Of pagan origin, it became, 786 years ago, one of the first celebrations in honor of the Santo Niño. Tiis-Tiis, Tigayons, Libtong Boys, Borongas... more than 55 tribes are represented, each one wearing typical and outrageously colored costumes, which follow in rhythm the drums and percussions of the musicians. On the last evening, the fire parade sees thousands of participants marching by the light of flaming bamboo torches. Not to be missed!
