HOSTEL CELICA
Celica (prison in Slovene) is a youth hostel renovated in 2003, one of Europe's best youth hostels and the most original: it is in fact an ancient prison built in 1882 by Austro-Hungarians. The building is now a place of welcome and exchange where a large number of backpackers are found. And its original origin has not been completely removed but diverted: the twenty cells have just been transformed. Each one is unique since it is renovated by a different artist. Seminar rooms, an oriental café, a winter garden complete this set. The hostel also has nine rooms for 4 or 5 people, small studios and two dormitories for 7 or 12 people. Ideal for meetings, as located in the heart of the alternative Metelkova district. Every day at 2 p. m., a free tour of the hostel is organized. The hostel bar and restaurant are also open to visitors.

Personnel agréable.
Ideally located, ten minutes walk from the old town and five of the station, this inn has very seduce. An original setting, a relaxed atmosphere and a very pleasant and dynamic staff. Activities take place some evenings (concerts, barbecues...).
The inn is very well kept and clean.
Do not hesitate to stay, you will probably not be disappointed!
