Ljubljana also has its Best Western Premier, the Hotel Slon (translate elephant hotel). You can't get any more central than Slon because that elephant's on the main avenue. Yet it is very quiet because most of the rooms are right on the pedestrian street side. Knowing the calm of the Slovenians, one does not experience any unrest. Very professional reception. The interior of the rooms is unsurprising and one recognizes all the seriousness of this international brand. The restaurant-bar is also tastefully decorated.
