On Levstikov Trg, a southern extension of Stari Trg thought up by Plečnik in the interwar period, you'll find the Church of St. James (1615) which has an altar by Francesco Robba (he lived nearby). Octagonal chapel dedicated to St. Francis Xavier adjoining the church (1660) with stucco to the dome and marble altar. The first university of the city (theology, philosophy, medicine, music) was held in the Jesuit monastery, next to the church.
