In the southern extension of Emonska cesta, in the neighborhood of Trnovo, you cross this bridge on the banks of the Gradaščica, designed by Plečnik. Planted with trees, topped with pyramids, the architectural ensemble is more reminiscent of a square. In the middle of the parapet, an obelisk faces the statue of St. John the Baptist, the patron saint of the nearby Trnovo church. A few meters away, one can visit the house of architect, teacher and artist Jože Plečnik, where he lived from 1920 to 1957.
