This regional museum provides us with valuable ethnographic information on everyday life in the Carinthian region over the centuries. In addition to this classic chronological approach, there is a permanent exhibition based on themes that are emblematic of the region, such as the iron and steel industry, forestry and the magnificent Carf collection, which includes many painted beehives. The section on recent history sometimes lacks precision.
