ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
The former Yugoslav military district of Metelkova has been completely rehabilitated as a cultural site. The ethnographic museum now appears as the Quai Branly of Ljubljana: new, modern and playful. The first part of the museum is dedicated to the cultures of other continents: American Indians, Central African Pygmies, Indonesian and Australian culture. The second part, by far the most interesting, presents Slovenian culture and traditions: ancient objects, traditional clothing, pottery, tools retracing the life of the 14th century.
