This garden, founded in 1810, at the time of the Illyrian Provinces, contains more than 4,500 species, a third of which are local. Its affiliation with the University of Ljubljana enables it to be at the forefront of research and teaching and to play a major educational role in the safeguarding and knowledge of endangered species. Its imposing greenhouse, built for the 200th anniversary of the garden, is home to some strange tropical species.

Jardin agréable pour faire une petite (ou une longue) balade et trouver un peu de fraicheur. Il propose pas mal de commodités (bar, fontaine à eau (potable), jeux pour enfants)

Très agréable
Le jardin est situé dans le Parc Tivoli, il est très joli et bien entretenu. A deux pas se trouve un café charmant au bord d'une mare couverte de lotus. L'été, une librairie à l'air libre est accessible depuis le parc (chaises longues, livres en anglais et slovène, etc.).

Jardin agréable avec une mare ou les poissons et les tortues cohabitent.
Vous pouvez vous y rendre en vélo, c'est un peu éloigner.
