It is located on the line connecting Villach (Austria) to Gorizia (Italy) via Jesenice and Nova Gorica. It is simply one of the oldest single-track lines in Slovenia, with 5 trains a day to Nova Gorica, via Bohinjska Bistrica, from 4.30 am to 7.30 pm. The journey is quite long but the trains are quite comfortable and the crowd is not huge, which makes it easy to benefit from extra space.
