This is the gourmet restaurant of the prestigious Grand Hotel Toplice in Bled. Awards are pouring in for chef Simon Bertoncelj. The Michelin Guide and Gault et Millau have been raving about him for several years now. His cuisine is a fusion of French savoir-faire and local Slovenian ingredients. There's no room for simplicity for this perfectionist chef, who likes to challenge himself and multiply flavors and textures for sophisticated results and astonishing combinations; he's even mastered pastry-making, which is rare!
