These international regattas have been taking place since 1955. Numerous prestigious competitions have made the site famous: European championship in 1956, world championship for men in 1966, 1979, 1989 and women in 1979. Bled is the only town in the world to have hosted this competition three times. In 2020, the whole town will celebrate its 65th year of tradition. One of the country's major sporting events. It must be said that the magnificent setting has a lot to do with it!
