Legend has it that the lake was created following a dispute between fairies and local shepherds. In retaliation for the latter's mockery, the fairies had their fertile valley flooded. If you are more down to earth, you will learn that the island was formed following the melting of the Bohinj glacier during the last ice age. With a maximum depth of 30 m, its length reaches 2.12 km, its width 1.38 km. Today it hosts many sporting events.

Très beau lac idéal pour des promenades à pied ou en canoé sur le lac. Beau point de vue en montant au château ou sur les petits chemins proches du lac

Un très beau panorama mais île trop prisé des touristes. Allez plutôt au lac de Bohinj.

A beautiful walk around the lake, it is possible to swim there. However, if we want to go to the small island, the only way is to take the boats that take us with "driver". This is quite expensive for the half hour given on the island, because then you must pay the entrance of the church once there. We preferred to enjoy the coffee with the magnificent view on the lake. There are many paid parking spaces that allow easy parking (half or full day).

À une petite heure de la capitale, très facilement accessible en bus. C'est un lac enchanteur, le paysage avec le château et l'église est enchanteur. Il faut dépasser la partie avec les terrasses... Avec un peu de chances, vous croiserez un peintre nommé Bobby qui fera votre portrait derrière ses petites peintures ! Magique

Coup de cœur de la Slovénie. Je crois que tous ceux qui passe par ici tombent amoureux de ce lieu. Derrière le musée de Bled, un beau point de vue sur le lac et les environs.
