FORGE MUSEUM
The museum traces the history of iron in the valley and displays objects designed from the 15th century as well as a unique collection of nails. A room is entirely dedicated to Joža Bertoncelj (1901-1976), a native of Kropa, and a blacksmith artist who created candlesticks, masks, chests and grids. On the first floor, you can admire a century-old musical wardrobe that brightened up the evenings of guests at a Kropa inn during the Belle Epoque. You can attend the screening of two films, The Blacksmiths of Kropa and The New Year's Singers.
