It is probably the most beautiful railway line in Slovenia. It crosses the entire Julian Alps. Departure point in Jesenice, arrival in Nova Gorica. The journey takes 2 hours, passes of course through the Bled and Bohinj lake region before criss-crossing almost the entire valley of the Soča and through a tunnel of more than 6 km. Panoramic views scroll by accompanied by the atypical sound of the steam locomotive. The animators take you back to the 19th century Austro-Hungarian. A great ride not to be missed for anything in the world!

Excursion in an old steam locomotive of museum value to discover the picturesque Bohinj railway. The program of this excursion also includes your bus transport to Goriška Brda and a visit to this hilly wine-growing region. It is possible to choose only the steam locomotive trip, without a programme, and get off at the stops listed below.

The steam locomotive travels through the splendid Alpine regions, past Bled and Bohinj and through the valley of the Soča, Slovenia's most beautiful Alpine river; it continues along the picturesque small villages and vineyards of Goriška Brda and crosses the Karst. Guides and entertainers will ensure the comfort of the passengers and the conviviality of this train with a buffet.

The program of the excursion to Goriška Brda by coach starts at Kanal railway station. Goriška Brda is a unique hilly wine-growing region, dotted with small medieval villages and manor houses. The excursion includes a stop at the lookout at Gonjače, as well as a visit to the medieval village of Dobrovo, lunch and a visit to a wine cellar.
