This bridge over the Selška Sora River is one of the oldest in Slovenia. Commissioned by Bishop Leopold, the beautiful work caused its loss in 1381. The crossing on horseback took it into the gorge and the waters did the rest. The statue of St. John Nepomuk (he was thrown into the water in Prague) now watches over the tragic memory. Consolidated at the end of the 19th century, the bridge remains one of the symbols of the city and offers beautiful panoramas.
