LE PUY SAINT ROMAIN
Visit Puy Saint-Romain, a site rising 781 meters above sea level at Busséol.
Rising to an altitude of 781 metres, Puy Saint-Romain is one of the foothills of the Livradois, on the edge of the Limagne plain. From its summit, an exceptional panorama opens to our eyes, conducive to meditation. It embraces the chain of volcanoes, the Sancy massif, the gentle Limagne, the fields and forests of the Livradois, the meanders of the Allier, the oppidum of Corent and all the south of the Clermont-Ferrand agglomeration. There are several hiking trails to climb from the villages of Mirefleurs, Busséol and Saint-Maurice, with varying degrees of gradient. A very beautiful discovery, a little away from the major tourist sites of the region. Ideal to take full advantage of the calm of the mountains.
