Since 1957, this winery has brought together the work of 400 winegrowing families in the region. The 2001 Bagueri Merlot won a gold medal at the World Competition in Brussels. Bagueri are the flagship of this winery, the largest producer in Slovenia. The winery is known as the largest wine cellar in the country. The wine tasting workshops are among the best in the region with a high level of wine education. Independent tasting of twelve wine samples is possible only by reservation and lasts about one hour.
