PODNANOS VILLAGE

Charming village populated by some 400 souls, located at the foot of Mount Nanos, as its name suggests... in Slovenian! Stroll through its picturesque narrow streets, stroll along its small squares with Mediterranean charm, admire its pretty period houses. This village is also home to many vineyards and wine tastings are frequent in the area. You will also be told the story of the Preml family, whose great uncle composed the Slovenian national anthem while the great-nephew is celebrated for his commitment as an anti-fascist supporter.
