GALERIE D'ART MUNICIPALE

Both a modern art gallery in Piran and a municipal and regional institution, Obalne manages important exhibition venues on the Slovenian coast: another gallery in Piran, that of graphic designer Herman Pečarič, the open-air sculpture park (Forma Viva) and the Montfort Gallery near Portorož, and the Meduza and Loza galleries in Koper. It therefore plays an essential role in local cultural life, organizing exhibitions and events all year round. These include the Piran Architecture Days and Ex-Tempore, which focus on ceramics and painting.
