Renovated and expanded in 2015, Pivka Park is definitely worth a visit. The permanent exhibition, which includes dozens of military vehicles, is housed in a building built by the Italian army in the 1930s and converted into barracks for the Yugoslav forces after 1945. It traces Slovenia's military history since the First World War. Exciting guides and the chance to board a Yugoslav submarine!
