A very nice walk in the nice hilly park of Otočec which offers beautiful views of the medieval village and the castle. The latter, which dates back to the 1200s, has recently been converted into a luxury hotel and is no longer open to visitors. However, its astonishing orientation as well as its island location, surrounded on both sides by the Krka River, offers many possibilities for zealous photographers. Nevertheless, the panorama is clearly worth a detour if you are in the Novo mesto area.
