The Auberge du Palais restaurant is masterfully run by chef Jean-Philippe Devaux. In a neat, rather classic decor, the establishment offers traditional cuisine rich in flavors, featuring delicate dishes in interesting compositions. The famous moulet from the Thiers mountains is one of the specialties. The quality of the accommodation, including the superb annexes opposite the inn, the warm welcome and the meticulous presentation of the dishes make this an address not to be missed if you're passing through Forez.

Les menus du jours sont très variés et adaptés aux saisons ainsi qu'aux arrivages du moment.
Les recommandations du chef sont excellentes, aussi bien pour les plats que pour les vins (vins locaux à goûter, ils sont excellents !!).
On ne peut trouver de meilleur rapport qualité/prix.
Je recommande vivement l'Auberge de Jean-Phillipe et Elia !!
Cette auberge est trop peu connue à mon avis. La cuisine du chef est excellente.
