Podčetrtek is known for its thermal pleasures and excursion starting points along the Sotla River. The town's main attractions are the Olimia thermal baths, considered the best in Slovenia, and the village of Olimje with its monastery housing one of Europe's oldest pharmacies. The Podsreda meadows and castle are also part of the Kozjansko Park, a protected area with unique high meadows and endangered bird species. Visitors can also discover Pilštanj, one of the oldest and most important villages in the region, as well as Kozjansko Park, Olimje and the monastery of the Olimje Friars Minor.
